Mount Olive Ministries is honored to have Hannah Blum volunteering with our STEM program which includes Robotics. Hannah is a recent graduate from the Colorado School of Mines (located in Golden, Colorado), where she earned her degree in Chemical and Biochemical Engineering, minoring in Bioengineering and Life Sciences. As a young girl, Hannah never dreamed of being an engineer, but as a result of many events in her life orchestrated by a Loving God, Hannah was prompted to pursue math and science by enrolling at Mines. Being obedient to His will was the best decision Hannah ever made, and she thrived at Mines with an incredible community of faith, and an impactful time of serving and being served.
Throughout her college experience, she stayed involved with various organizations, including Fellowship of Christian Athletes and Blue Key Honor Society. Hannah’s passion is service, and as a result, many activities she participated in at Mines were service-oriented.
Being born and raised in Golden, Colorado, a small town surrounded by mountains, Hannah’s favorite activities include hiking, skiing, running, backpacking, and camping. She also enjoys spending time with her community of friends and family, and loves global travel. She went on her first global adventure to Lukla, Nepal, in December 2015, and fell in love with the country and the people.
Hannah currently works in the Oil and Gas Industry as a Project Engineer. Her day-job is a reflection of the Lord’s goodness, and her community of believers is a reflection of His faithfulness in providing for our greatest needs. The most important thing in Hannah’s life is her faith, and making it known to those who are in need of its truth. She believes that Mount Olive Ministries is an organization making an enormous impact for the Kingdom of God, and looks forward to helping propel it to the future it has in store.
