Math Competition

The purpose of the Mathematics Competition is to increase interest in mathematics and to develop problem-solving through a fun competition. Students benefit from the opportunity to challenge other students with interesting mathematical questions that are aligned with curriculum standards at all levels of difficulty. In addition, students gain the opportunity to learn and achieve through competition with students in their school and in other school districts.

We understand that today’s math students will be tomorrow’s doctors and scientists responsible for the next major advancements in science and medicine. They will be tomorrow’s engineers who address damage from natural disasters and develop ways of avoiding such damage in the future. They will be tomorrow’s creators of the next invention that will change the world. They will be tomorrow’s math and science teachers who inspire future generations.
